USCJ Pacific Southwest Region!
Over the past few months, we've been talking to a lot of people. We've had the opportunity to speak with rabbis, cantors, synagogue staff and community members, and the major thing we've taken away from our conversations has been that most of the methods we've been using to connect and support your communities and the Conservative Movement simply aren't working anymore!
It's time for a change -- a big change!
With the help of clergy, synagogue staff and lay leaders everywhere, we're preparing a dramatic plan to re-energize the Pacific Southwest Region (PACSW), transforming it into a dynamic and thriving kehillah of kehillot. With your support, we will work to implement the United Synagogue new directions by finding better ways to educate and engage our youth, connect with our young professionals, help develop your leadership, and keep our "boomers" engaged and senior populations active.
As a symbol of our planned transformation, and as a first step, we've removed our outdated and stale website! Over the coming months, we will be rebuilding it, incorporating the latest technologies to help keep you connected to your synagogue, and your synagogue connected to our PACSW Kehillah. The information from our old website is still available, but we encourage you to follow our transformation, and spread the word, through the following methods:
